RAN RAN Chapter 2 Page 5.

It was after midnight. Ran Ran took her place on the floor, hoping that this wouldn't be a regular routine, and got herself as comfortable as possible to sleep.

Meanwhile in the Shadow Kingdom underneath time and space Queen Helena (note: I may change Queen Helena's hair in future pages to come) and Zoi were watching Ran Ran and Tora through Helena's magical crystal ball. Queen Helena says as she looks within the ball, "This is perfect! The chosen one is sound asleep and so is her guardian fairy Tora. She is now at her most vulnerable point!" Zoi speaks up, "Shall I use this opportunity to cut off the chosen one?"

Queen Helena laughs sinisterly, then consents, "Yes, Zoi, go... go and fulfill your mission, but do not fail me!"

Zoi with a bow, "Leave it to me, my Queen."

Back on Earth the clock on the wall in the hallway of the upstairs of Kurosawa residence (Ran Ran is of the Kurosawa family) it read three a.m.. Zoi had made her physical appearance outside the house looking up at the window which she believed was Ran Ran's room. She says, "I must make my way up to her room and destroy her once and for all before she gains the powers of magic and love that can bring the Shadow Kingdom to a state of disrepair. She must be destroyed... but getting past that guardian of hers is going to be tricky. I better end it now while they are asleep."

Just then Ran Ran was awoken by a coldness that entered the room. She felt the presence of shear evil all around her in the air surrounding her. She calls out to Tora asking her if she heard anything. Tora responds, "I can sense evil energy from the Shadow Kingdom. Prepare to become a magical girl!"
